Privacy Policy

PGC:

1. will retain information sent to us both on paper and electronically in accordance with current United Kingdom data protection legislation;
   
   
2. will not make contact with your current employer for reference taking without prior permission from you;
   
   
3. may use any or all of the e-mail addresses, telephone numbers and postal addresses you provide to communicate private and confidential information to you;
   
   
4. cannot accept e-mail applications with viruses, compressed or unreasonably large attachments or attachments with macros or password protection;
   
   
5. will only accept e-mail attachments that are either Microsoft Office documents (.doc .rtf .xls .ppt .pps), text only (.txt) or Adobe Acrobat portable document format (.pdf) as other formats may not be recognised by our IT systems;
   
   
6. may be obliged to carry out checks to verify your identity and certain qualifications in accordance with current United Kingdom employment agency legislation;
   
   
7. will treat information once received as confidential even if not explicitly stated to be so.

You:

1. understand that on-line and e-mail applications are insecure and that PGC is neither responsible nor liable for failures of transmission, interception or breaches of confidentiality by third parties or any consequences thereof;
   
   
2. consent to the sharing of your details and documents with the client's representatives on that assignment and with PGC directors, consultants, researchers, contractors, associates and support staff;
   
   
3. will be contacted by PGC for prior permission to be actively considered for any other vacancies other than that (or those) for which you have specifically applied;
   
   
4. may be asked to prove your identity;
   
   
5. can have your details removed from PGC records at any time. Please make your request for removal in writing to our registered address (see Contact PGC) stating your full name, address and date of birth;
   
   
6. should contact a director of PGC immediately if you wish to lodge a complaint about any aspect of PGC's services or conduct. The direct dial telephone numbers of all three PGC directors are given on the Public Accountability page;
   
   
7. will have indicated that you have read, understood and accepted our privacy policy by submitting your details and documents to PGC from this website.
